Barry Conybeare has been appointed to the Board of Education for St. Joseph Public Schools to fill an open board seat vacated in January, 2016. A father of four children B three of whom attend St. Joseph schools and one who graduated in 2014 B Barry was one of two candidates interviewed for the open position. He will fill the vacancy and run for re-election in November, 2016.

I think he will bring the insights and experience we are looking for, and his long history in the community is definitely of high value. Barry is also President of the Berrien County Bar Association and has served on the boards of Point of Woods Golf and Country Club, Planned Parenthood of Southwest Michigan, Curious Kids= Museum and the Lake Michigan College Foundation.
