The Kalamazoo office has been busy connecting with our new community this spring. Legal Assistant Kaz Ruhland is a Portage Park Board Member, and she has helped us identify opportunities to give back. We recently adopted Harbors West Park, which came with the responsibility of a spring clean-up. While this is a beautifully maintained park, Kaz and Sasha scoured the park on May 10th to make sure it was ready for the warm weather ahead.
On May 12th Conybeare Law Office sponsored Portage’s first Heritage Festival held at Celery Flats Historical Area and organized by Kaz. We were honored to be a part of an event celebrating the different cultures of our neighbors in Southwest Michigan. We especially appreciated the traditional dance performances by the India Association of Kalamazoo!
