Conybeare law offices recently won a record-breaking case in a wrongful death suit in Cass County.
Following a 3 ½ day trial, Barry Conybeare, with the help of Nate Harrington and Matt Conklin, successfully earned a $1.9 million verdict for the family of a pickup driver, 46, who was struck and killed 4 years ago when a dump truck lost control and collided with his pickup truck. The man is survived by his wife of 17 years and their now 18-year-old daughter. The result is the highest jury verdict in the history of Cass County, a traditionally conservative jurisdiction.
“We’re grateful we were able to help protect the family,” said Conybeare, a 25-year veteran personal injury lawyer. “While no amount of money will ever replace the loss and the sadness the family feels, the jury did its job in giving the family the financial support they need and deserve.”
